Bayshore Bazaar Feature: Cheese All That
“Cheese, wine, and friends must be old to be great” – proverb
We are so thrilled to feature Cheese All That, a NJ-based company that offers customized charcuterie boards, numbers, letters, individual cups and boxes. They will work with you to customize and enhance any occasion! What better way to celebrate or thank someone than with cheese?
We recently caught up with owner Morgan Karalewich, a proud Monmouth County native - Shrewsbury to be specific. After college in Philadelphia and a brief stint in Manhattan putting her merchandising degree to work, she was ready for a change. That desire led her to a career in sales and several years of travel throughout the U.S. After living in various cities, including her second home of Nashville for 3 years, nothing compared to Monmouth County. She’s a dog mama to the cutest Labradoodle, Layla. She spends as much time at the beach as possible while also checking out new bars, restaurants and the local music scene.
You’ll find Cheese All That aboard our first maiden voyage on the Festiva Yacht for our Bayshore Bazaar Boat Cruise this Friday, August 19th at Teal Cruises in Atlantic Highlands! Guests will enjoy delicious food, drinks, a sunset cruise, shopping from local vendors, nautical photo station, and more! Cheese All That is sponsoring an incredible charcuterie station - DON’T MISS OUT! Grab your tickets here.
How did you get into the charcuterie business?
I’ve always had an absolute love for food, cooking and entertaining, but food styling is the most important element to me. Presentation truly is everything. After much encouragement from friends and family I turned my passion into a career. When traveling for my full-time job stopped during Covid, I put my thinking cap on and began building Cheese All That NJ. I started with a post on the "Curbside Pickup Monmouth County" Facebook group in January 2021 and the response blew me away. I quickly realized I was onto something.
What did you do before launching Cheese All That?
Sleep! Just kidding, or am I? I still have my sales job, but I needed to supplement that with a creative outlet. Before Cheese All That I owned an Etsy shop that sold over 2,000 items which kept me creatively fulfilled. At first I tried to balance all three, but after a few months it was clear my new baby, Cheese All That, needed all of my attention to flourish. Plus, someone has to come up with all of those puns we use!
What do you love about living at the Bayshore? Monmouth County?
There are so many things I love about this area- there’s nothing like it. My favorite thing is being surrounded by water. I walk my dog to the river daily and the sunrises/sunsets can't be beat. However, I was born and raised a beach girl and simply can't live without it. I frequent the beach in every season. Being a few miles away is the biggest gift. The Bayshore boasts the BEST food scene in NJ and even beyond. Whether it be in Red Bank, Asbury, or Atlantic Highlands, there is always something new and exciting happening. I can't believe how lucky I am to be part of our local food world, now as a business owner.
Tell us other small businesses you shop and support.
It's so hard to narrow it down as there are SO MANY. Small business is part of my daily routine. I start my day by getting caffeinated at Coffee Coral. I regularly work with Pardon my Picnic- their vision and execution is absolutely stunning. I’m always in good company alongside Eat Cake Be Merry, the sweetest fellow colorful and bubbly creative! I could never pick a favorite restaurant but Albarino is up there, there’s nothing better than catching up with friends over Tapas and creative cocktails.
What is the most requested charcuterie?
I think our forte has become themed boards - specific to your taste or celebration. Whether it be a wedding, an 8 foot grazing table for a family BBQ, a book club get together or individual "cup-cute-eries" we can find a way to work in any theme - it's a way to stay creative and make each order memorable.
