How did you get into the kid clothing business?

I have always loved the energy & creativity that kids embody. The joy & love of life that they exude has always made me want to work in the children's industry. Once I became a mom to our now 7 year old daughter and 5 year old son, I knew it was a dream I wanted to pursue.

What did you do before launching Little Chicken?

I was in fashion PR and women’s footwear design.

What do you love about living at the Bayshore? Monmouth County?

I love the sense of community and endless activities. Our family loves the water, so living at the shore has always been a dream of ours. The accessibility to the city, wide variety of culture and history makes the Bayshore a truly special place to live.

Tell us other small businesses you shop and support.

Our family loves Hudson Cafe in Atlantic Highlands, which has the best breakfast around. Strada is the perfect spot for a night out on the town. We also love going to the Atlantic Moviehouse to catch a movie.

What is the biggest back to school trend?

Anything goes! Kids' fashion is so much fun this season with endless amounts of color. The 90's Y2K is a big trend. Personalization is also having a big moment which is great for us!

Special thank you to Little Chicken for sponsoring our 1st Bayshore Bazaar Boat Cruise in Atlantic Highlands! Be sure to visit them at 35 First Ave in Atlantic Highlands or shop their online store here.
