Love Stories: Cozy Style Living

Ewelina started her career as a nurse which she still continues to do today. In 2020, she started Cozy Style Living from a feeling – being comfortable and unique in your own cozy space – and expressed that feeling through flowers.

Today, she provides custom floral arrangements for all of life’s events and leads workshops for corporate companies and in collaboration with local small businesses. Stop by and visit the flower bar at the Asbury Park Valentine’s Day Bazaar on February 12.

When did you meet your partner and how did you get together?

I met Paul in 2008 when I was working at a gym. He came in one day and before then I had never said hello to him. But that day I decided to break the ice by saying “Something is different about you.” Not soon after, we were on our first date and have been together ever since.

Does your partner play a role in your small business?

Paul helps me with marketing, taking/editing photos and other business operations. He also enjoys driving the truck to events and setting up.

What do you love best about your partner?

We often joke that we share the same energy. He knows how to cheer me up, knows what I’m thinking without saying and encourages me to take on the challenges of owning my own business. He was a big reason Cozy Style Living started, having submitted the paperwork and filings to create the business. He’s always front row to celebrate my successes.

What are your favorite things to do together?

We love to travel together. Music connects us and we enjoy spending a night in watching cooking shows and action shows.

What do you love about Asbury Park Bazaar?

I enjoy the ability to be around other people chasing their dreams and networking with other small businesses.

What are you planning to sell at the Valentine's Market?

We’ll be providing people with the unique opportunity to design their own bouquets for Valentine’s day. If you’re making into making your own, we’ll have a selection of beautiful floral arrangements.
